Do I need a reservation?
Yes. Admission is by advance seat reservation. Walk-up admission is not part of the standard show model.
What is the refund and exchange policy?
Ticket sales are final. When possible, Kermess may offer an exchange as a courtesy, but exchanges are never available fewer than seven days before the performance. If Kermess cancels a performance, guests may choose a refund or exchange.
Is food included with the ticket?
Standard tickets include admission and reserved seating. Food and beverage are purchased separately unless your ticket or event package specifically says they are included.
Is the evening 21+?
Premonitions Inc. is 21+. Family holiday programming and daytime brunch performances, when offered, will be listed separately.
Can I book a group?
Yes. Eight or more seats to a public Premonitions Inc. date, with one contact for the block. Start at group booking. To take over the tent, see private events.
Are student rates available?
Yes. Students can contact the box office for a 10% discount on outer-ring tickets when available. Pricing may vary and requires presentation of a valid student ID.
Are military discounts available?
Yes. Military personnel can contact the box office for a 10% discount on tickets when available. Pricing may vary and requires presentation of a valid military ID.
Where is the best place to purchase tickets?
The best seats at the best prices are available through kermesschicago.com or the official Kermess phone number. Tickets purchased through brokers or third-party sellers may cost more, may not guarantee a particular seat location, or may be counterfeit. Counterfeit tickets will not be honored at the venue. Each patron needs a ticket to enter Kermess.
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets generally go on sale approximately three months before the performance. Buying in advance gives you the best chance at the best seating locations and prices, though seats remain on sale until performance time based on availability.

What is Kermess?
Kermess is a magical, show-forward live entertainment venue in Chicago's Loop Theatre District. Located at 32 W Randolph St, Floor 14 above the Cambria Hotel Chicago Loop and next door to the James M. Nederlander Theatre, Kermess is built around a century-old Belgian Spiegeltent with 300 seats.
What time should I arrive?
Arrive at the posted door time so the front-of-house team can check you in, seat your party, and begin service before the performance. Final arrival instructions will be provided before your visit.
What if I arrive late?
Late entry may be held until a suitable break in the performance, at the front-of-house team's discretion. Original seating cannot be guaranteed.
What should I wear?
Smart casual or cocktail attire is encouraged. Come dressed for a night out in the Theatre District.
Where is Kermess?
Kermess is located at 32 W Randolph St, Floor 14 in Chicago's Loop Theatre District, above the Cambria Hotel Chicago Loop and next door to the James M. Nederlander Theatre. Enter through the hotel and take the last elevator to Floor 14.
How do I get there?
Nearby transit includes the Lake Red Line and CTA routes along State, Dearborn, and Randolph. Paid self-parking is available nearby, including Theatre District Self Park, Block 37 garage, Park One Randolph, and ABM Garage at 20 E Randolph. Hotel valet is also available through the Cambria Hotel Chicago Loop; rates and availability may vary.

Can I take photos or video?
Personal photos before and after the show are welcome where posted. Please do not use flash or record during the performance unless the team invites you to.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes, table service for food and drinks is available for purchase through the show. Shareables, starters, mains, cocktails, sweets, cocoa, champagne, bottles, and table service vary by show and date, with options shown during booking. The bar opens one hour before the show and remains open for 45 minutes after it ends.
Is coat check available?
Yes. Complimentary coat check is available for standard outerwear. Please keep valuables with you.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we welcome accessibility requests. Please contact info@kermesschicago.com at least 72 hours before your visit so our team can support arrival and seating. Specific accessibility information will be published once the guest route has been finalized.
What is the policy on guide dogs and service animals?
Although animals are not permitted in the venue, an exception is made for guide dogs and service animals. Please inform your ticket sales representative if any accommodations are required.
What is the minimum requirement to purchase group tickets?
The group minimum is 8 tickets.
Is alcohol served?
Alcohol is available during adult programming to guests 21+ with valid ID.
What is Premonitions Inc.?
Premonitions Inc. is Kermess's opening experience: an original 21+ cabaret production set inside a fictional office of prophecy. The evening features award-winning international performers across circus arts, cabaret, comedy, immersive theatre, and theatrical interaction.
How long is the show?
The performance runs approximately 90 minutes. Please allow about two hours from arrival to departure.
